Add a Transition Animation

This page has instructions on how to add an animation to banner ad state transitions.

Android

By default this feature is disabled. Enable banner ad transition animations with the following code:

Disable banner transitions by calling

The available transition types (including NONE to disable the feature) are:

  • none
  • random
  • push
  • reveal
  • move in
  • fade

In addition to its type, a transition animation has a direction and a duration (expressed in milliseconds) associated with it. Set the direction and duration of transition animations like so:

The default values for the direction and duration are UP and 1000, respectively.

iOS

When ANBannerAdView presents more than one creative, a transition animation can be enabled between the visibly presented creative content.

By default, transitions are not animated. When there is no animation one creative immediately replaces the other. Enable transition animations as follows:

The enumerated type ANBannerViewAdTransitionType defines the possible transition types.

You can also define the duration and direction of the transition:

The range of transition directions is defined by the enumerated type ANBannerViewAdTransitionDirection.
