We are excited to announce the following enhancements to version 1.16 of the AppNexus Console API.

Changed Services

Insertion Order Service

As part of the Beta phase of Seamless Order Entry, a new array, budget_intervals, has been added to the Insertion Order Service. This array and its fields are in Beta. This new array allows for multiple budget intervals (or billing periods) to be created on one insertion order, preserving historical pacing and optimization data and streamlining your setup for long-standing advertiser relationships. Each budget interval must have a start_date and end_date, cannot overlap, and must have a budget. See the Budget Intervals in Insertion Order Service for more details.

As part of the Beta phase of Seamless Order Entry, a new field, lifetime_pacing_pct, has been added to the Insertion Order Service. This field is in Beta and is used to set pacing throughout the insertion order’s lifetime or budget interval. Possible values can be any double between 50 and 150 on a scale with 50 as pacing behind schedule, 100 is pacing evenly, and 150 is pacing ahead of schedule.

Line Item Service

As part of the Beta phase of Seamless Order Entry, a new array, budget_intervals, has been added to the Line Item Service. This array and its fields are in Beta. This new array allows for multiple budget intervals (or billing periods) to be created on one line item, preserving historical pacing and optimization data and streamlining your setup for long-standing advertiser relationships. Each budget interval inherits a start_date and end_date from its parent insertion order. See the Budget Intervals in Line Item Service for more details.

Lookup Service

A bug has been fixed on the Lookup Service. The service was incorrectly returning IDs and other numeric types as strings, even though the meta call for the service specified that those fields should be integers. This has been fixed, and the service now returns the correct types in those fields.
