Quick Start Creative Buying Guide
Here is a quick guide to help get you, as an AppNexus bidder customer, up-and-running with creatives.
You will greatly increase the publishers you can reach if you have your creatives audited. Read the Creative Standards and Auditing (customer login required) to make sure your creatives are audited and ready to serve.
Set Up Creatives
The way in which you set up creatives will depend on the type of creative you're working with.
Third-Party Tag Creatives

In order to set up a native video creative, you must first register a video creative. You will then use the creative id from the video creative in the "video_assets.video_creative_id" field in the native creative.
After POSTing the above video creative, you will use that creative id in the "video_assets.video_creative_id" field.

- You can use macros in the following fields:
- Macros don’t work inside a creative file.
- Nested macros (a macro within another macro) do not work with creatives.
